One Saturday in September we decided to go see a nearby National Park, Elephant Rocks. We had been talking about going to see it for awhile and had the perfect weather to do it. When we stopped at the grocery store for picnic supplies, we ran into a family that we are very good friends with. Come to find out they had decided to go to Elephant Rocks that day also. We ended up spending the day with them and having a lot of fun.
Lindy and "Taitlyn" climbing.
Lindy loves Caitlyn and always wants to play with her.
Jim and Owen checking out the view.
Typical Cornelius Family photo.
Neither child is looking at the camera.
Lindy did great on the walk.
It was a little over one mile.
She walked most of it and climbed with Caitlyn a lot.
She did decide to ride in the stroller a little when she got tired.
The Elephant Rocks from below.
It is rather scary to watch your child run at full speed under a rock that is balanced on a very small base for the size of the rock.
She and Caitlyn had a great time climbing between and on the rocks.
