A Visit from Papa on the Boat and Grandma Ann

Because of the uncertainty and never ending stress of the move this summer, we did not get to see Chuck and Ann when they came up from Panama.  We didn't get to see any other members of the family either for that matter.  They understood that we were not able to travel and made a special trip to come see us!  There is nothing that makes you feel more loved that having a special trip planned just for you!  They stayed for a week and braved the cold Missouri weather.

Lindy reading with her "Papa Boat"
She has named each grandpa herself and Chuck has received Papa Boat.

We went to see Ally Springs and Mill to get out of the house one day even though the weather wasn't great.
Lindy had a lot of fun walking (running) around the spring with Grandma Ann.

Lindy was very interested in the horse until it actually got close enough to touch.

Lindy ran down the path, hugged her Papa Boat and ran back to play on the bridge.
She just needed an "I love you" break!
We went to see Santa a Bass Pro Shops on our way to the airport.
Lindy loved the carousel.

She didn't want much to do with Santa though.
We can't figure out why she would not go to Santa since she is so used to Chuck.
There is a slight resemblance...

 Saying goodbye to Grandma Ann.

Saying goodbye to Papa Boat.

Hopefully we will get to spend some more time with them this summer after the baby is here.  They had a good time in Mexico after they were here and made it back to Panama safely!
