The Dodgers

Jim's birthday present this year was a trip to Phoenix, AZ to watch the Dodgers play a Spring Training game. We were so excited when the Dodgers moved their Spring Training camp to the Cactus League! Because of Jim's work schedule and limitations when he is home, we can't go to regular season games, but now we can see them in Phoenix during the spring. We also will hopefully get to Albuquerque this summer to watch the Isotopes as they are now the Dodger's minor league team.

We saw MANNY!!!! Yes, Manny Mania has hit the Cornelius house!

Lindy so excited to see Manny that she is sound asleep!

Cheering for Hu (pronounced who) up to bat

Lindy asking deep questions about the poor pitching choices after the 6th inning

The Cornelius Family
Lindy was the youngest baby we saw at the game. We had a few people comment that this is the way to create a baseball fan! She got her first Dodgers jersey and did very well at the game. She never fussed through any of the cheering. We took her to watch batting practice and saw Matt Kemp batting. We also walked around the training facility. It was very neat to see the players relaxed and up close talking to the fans and goofing off. We have been to the Cactus League in years past, but we didn't get to see the players off of the field. Camelback Ranch is laid out so that the fans have a unique experience! We can hardly wait for next year!
