Five Months

Lindy was 5 months old on June 14. I can't believe how fast her first year is flying by! She does not have a doctor's appointment this month, so my best guess (using my sewing measuring tape trying to hold her still by myself) is that she is 28 inches long. She laughs more and more each day. She has started adding consonant sounds to her cooing sounds. We read books everyday and she is learning that the pictures are 2 dimensional. She has stopped grabbing at the pictures and is now trying to hold (or eat) the book. Everything goes in her mouth and she wants to touch everything! She talks to her daddy every night on the phone and loves to hear his voice. It is hard not having him home, but he will be here for a couple of days of R&R on Monday!
