Way to go, Clay! Lindy would like to proudly let you all know that her Uncle Clay is now officially a Smokejumper! He found out that he is actually the third, not the second Navajo Jumper. He met the second while in rookie training. We are very proud of him. Becoming a Smokejumper is much like getting into the Navy SEALS, only without the cool James Bond devices. Clay had some serious foot issues that he is still dealing with, but all is going well. I would post the pictures of his feet, but they are seriously gross. I don't know how he was even walking, let alone running and jumping out of planes!
