We had a very sad day yesterday. We had to put Buffalo down. The Big Dude (as he was lovingly known) tore the ligaments in his remaining back leg on Sunday. He was no longer able to walk and be his happy self. It was a hard choice for us to make, but it was really our only option. He could not live the life that he deserved if he couldn't walk. We had spent 6 years nursing his thyroid and his heart, but it was his legs that gave out on him.
We miss him very much and there is a large hole in our hearts and our home right now.

Amy I'm so sorry, that brings tears to my eyes thinking of you guys going through that. He's in a better place now. Love you guys!
