No, not the fun, fruity flavored variety found at your local bar that lead to vicious hangovers. Rather, the horrible, scream inducing but VERY necessary type from the doctor. As a teacher of young children (read: snot factories) I know the importance of immunizations given on the proper schedule. Some of you may remember me catching Whooping Cough from an un-immunized student 2 years ago. My immunization had expired, and he caught it from a cousin of his. He was kind enough to share with me. All of this story leads to the fact that Lindy gets her shots on the doctor's schedule. She went in last night to get her 4 month round. She only screamed for about a minute after it was all over. I had a bottle ready and waiting and she was asleep before she was back in the car. The good news is that she is super healthy! She has 2 red spots and one small bump from the shots, but other than that she is back to normal.
Here are the stats: Lindy is now 15 1/2 pounds. She is 27 inches tall. This puts her in the 50th percentile for weight and over the 95th for height. Dr. Worth was impressed by her strength and her personality. She really does light up a room with her cheesy grin! And here we just thought we were biased!
