A Very Special Visit

On July 2nd early in the evening, Jim was getting Lindy ready for a bath. I was fixing dinner and someone knocked on our door. I got the dog outside so that she didn't eat whoever was there and got to the door. When I opened it, our friend Clay was there! We didn't know that he was coming down from Idaho for a quick visit. He had come to see Lindy (and us, but mostly Lindy!). We were very glad to see him. He had some great stories to share with us, his feet are almost healed up and we had a very good visit. He even managed to put Lindy to sleep after her bath! We can hardly wait for him to be home for the winter!
