On our way to Missouri, we stopped in Pueblo and spent two days with my mom. Lindy loves to help her Grandma Linda around the house when we are there. Mom had given Lindy the plates and napkins to set the table for breakfast one morning. When Mom went to check on Lindy's progress, this is what she found!
What?
You said "Set the table."
I am sitting on the table.
Here's Grandma's napkin...
We have a running joke about the size of the dining room table. It is huge. It has only 4 chairs and you are so far from the person next to you that to pass things you have to give the dish a shove and slide it. If you want something to go across the table, a skateboard would be handy. It is exhausting to set it. It is like a marathon run in a very tight circle! Beautiful, yes, practical, no! Lindy solved the problem with having to run in circles to set it. She just climbed on top of it and was crawling from seat to seat!
